That don't make no sense

Mon May 19, 2008, 5:01 PM
I wonder why we have to click a button to everytime we submit an image to say whether it contains nudity, but then there are so many nudes (especially nude women, kissing and being provacative) on the popular list, that is displayed on the home page. I really don't care to look at nude women being provocative EVERY stinkin time I log on to DA. But, I have to make sure everyone is "Warned" when I put up a nude pic?
Why? If they have no choice but to see it anyway?

He is a wonderfull cartoonist. I have no interest in doing it myself, I'm just an admirer. He has a definite style (and it's NOT anime) which is refreshing I think. (now I'm gonna get haters maybe, but I don't give a rats &^**. I like what I like and I'm allowed. We all have our own tastes.
AHEM, like I said he has his own style, and I really wanted to see my favorite author's face in his style so he did it. You should go give him some love, he's not getting as much as he should. Make sure you see his "big ladys" They are adorable.

Happy Easter

Tue Mar 18, 2008, 6:31 PM
Hope you all have a great Easter with your families. Really. I just wanted to put something new here, cause I'm tired of looking at that last post.

I found something in Photoshop that I never knew about.

Select-> similar colors

Wow that blew my mind. You can alter the variance so that you can choose just one color or a range of colors. Then you can change that color to something else. But I found it works best if desaturate the selection first. Now they just need to make it so you can change a range of colors to another range of colors, instead of just one color.

And I got the color schemer studio, which is very cool. What I really like is being able to steal a color scheme from anything on the internet. And BTW if you ever want to DL a pic and can't try this:

edit->select all
edit->copy

then paste into MSWord. From there you can copy the image then just delete the page from MSWord.

Yeah, so
Happy Easter y'all.

copywrites and watermarcs

Tue Aug 14, 2007, 6:28 PM
So I am having to learn about this because I went to Pyzam.com, and I'm sorry to say they are ripping off a LOT of brushes from DA. I'm not gonna provide links here because I'm too damn lazy. Just take my word for it.

Also, someone on DA that I DL'd brushes from got banned, and on her website the host closed her account and said it was for violating copywrite protecition. Those brushes are on Pyzam.com, so I don't know who stole from who.

We are having a big thunderstorm right now.

Anyway, I did a lot of work, DL'ing and organizing these brushes, and then I made an image of each set, using different colors and sizes for each individual brush. Now I have to go and delete them all.

But the worst part is I used the brushes and if I get noticed by the person who actually did the artwork, I will look like a *really* devious person. Sheesh.

Update

Tue Jul 17, 2007, 7:11 PM
:lmao: :lol: Like there's something to update here. I write in here a few times a year.

Well, I decided to branch out on here, and I am adding photos that I have taken and photoshopped. Also in scraps, I will be adding a bunch of my pencil drawings.

I am reading Lisey's Story by Stephen King. He won some literary award for it, so that is something big, because he's always complaining that the critics don't like him. And he SAYS, which I don't like to think is true, that his novels are the literary equivalent of a big mac and fries. Then, I'm living on MacDonald's I guess, cuz I don't read that much, so one Author is enough to keep up with. Well, I have read some Anne Rice and Nora Roberts, and Sidney Sheldon.

Anyway, am I only suppose to talk about art on here? Oh, yeah, anyway, Lisey's Story is SUCH a beautifull book...no, I mean the cover, not the dust cover. And something I have never seen before...there is a space between the spine binding of the book, and the actual spine COVER of the book. So I Stuck a piece of red glittery cord in there and tied it to use as a bookmark. A ribbon would be better, but I didn't have any. Anyway, I believe that's why it has the space there, and I have never seen that before. What I like is that it's like this little gift, this little extra, but only if you happen to be a super-sensitive, detail-oriented, imaginative genius like MOI!! So I took some pics of the book, that I hope you like. (It only took 15 minutes for me to get that out, so if any of you read this, you're probably thinking "I can wait another 6 months for her next update.")
